Anu Almagro (Salonen) works internationally as an actress, acting teacher and director — a practice grown out of authentic, energetic encounter, from the ensemble stages of Wrocław to Turku, Sydney and Poznań.

In 2007 Anu became an actress of Teatr Pieśń Kozła / Song of the Goat Theatre, an international, multi-award-winning company based in Wrocław, and a teacher of its unique Coordination technique. The company tours worldwide, performing at venues such as BAM, New York and The Globe, London.
She has created her own companies — Odra Ensemble and Winged Daughters — and collaborates across Finland, Poland, Ukraine and Australia on work that joins artistic and scientific research.
